Spectator & Family Events
New for 2010, the Rose City Open is partnering with Family Works, a non-profit organization that exists to help families in the St. Johns neighborhood. A portion of the money raised from sponsors will go to support Family Works.
Families from the St. Johns and greater Portland area will be invited to Pier Park to participate in activities specifically planned for them. They will also be able to watch some of the Northwest's best disc golfers during competition and join in the festivities following the rounds. Activities schedules are disc golf demonstrations and carnival like activities for the kids.
There will also be VIP spectator passes on sale before and during the event. VIP spectators will receive a schedule of events, an official Rose City Open mini-disc and more. The cost and exact souvenirs included have yet to be determined. Check back as we get closer to the event.
